21/06/2017 - The first Agile Development Sprint has been successfully accomplished!
During the first month of development, the following basic functionalities have been integrated into the backbone of Food Security TEP:
- Basic platform functionalities from Forestry TEP
- PROBA-V MEP Time Series Viewer
- 333m resolution NDVI product from PROBA-V data for 2016-2017
- The Food Security Platform web presence has been set up
14/07/2017 - 2nd Agile Development Sprint has been successfully accomplished! During the second month of development, the following user stories of the FS-TEP backlog have been completed:
- Parallel processing on Sentinel images in the CGI TEP
- Visualize a time series using the Proba-V MEP REST Service - internal interface
- FS-TEP FAPAR algorithm validation
- Move of the Portal to EO IPT Poland
15/09/2017 - The 3rd Agile Development Sprint has been successfully accomplished!
During the third and fourth month of development, the following user stories of the FS-TEP backlog have been completed:
- Configuration of required geoserver instance
- Creation of a simplified UI to display biophysical parameters
- Investigation of best way forward for adding in timeseries functionality
- Investigation of best way to make user-added data searchable
13/10/2017 - 4th Agile Development Sprint has been successfully accomplished!
During the fifth month of development, the following user stories of the FS-TEP backlog have been completed:
- Search of available data in the platform catalogue and visualisation of their quicklooks and basic metadata
- Upload of Field boundaries into private account in order to use it as pre-defined areas in algorithms and searches
- Access to the simplified "analyst" view of FS-TEP from the application page
13/11/2017 - 5th Agile Development Sprint has been successfully accomplished!
During the sixth month of development, the following user stories of the FS-TEP backlog have been completed:
- The FS-TEP OpenSearch catalogue for products and data has been set up
- Service providers can now create their own collections of information products and data
- A first version of a global DEM was integrated for testing of service processors
- Multiple tiles can now be processed in parallel and displayed as one layer
21/12/2017 - 6th Agile Development Sprint has been successfully accomplished!
During the 7th month of development, the following user stories of the FS-TEP backlog have been completed:
- Systematic processing of new EO data for a user-specified Area-of-Interest (AOI)
- Service providers can now feed processor outputs to pre-defined product collections
- Integration of Sen2Agri workflows on dedicated machines has started
02/02/2018 - 7th Agile Development Sprint has been successfully accomplished!
During the 8th month of development, the following user stories of the FS-TEP backlog have been completed:
- Creation of FS-TEP Docker registry
- Retrieval of cropped product mosaics from Geoserver
- Retrieval of multiple input products for single processor runs
During the 8th agile sprint of development, the following user stories of the FS-TEP backlog have been completed:
- Update of FS-TEP storage management to use very large files in processing
- First simple integration of the Sen2Agri toolbox
- Update of the Analyst View Layout (Mobile view)
- Simple integration of the WFP Seasonal Explorer
- Fixing of some miscellanous backend issues
During the 9th agile sprint of development, the following user stories of the FS-TEP backlog have been completed:
- R Studio was deployed as an application on Food Security TEP
- The Developer Interface now allows creating and using templates of docker applications for faster deployment
- Creation of new docker applications now automatically creates the right set of files
- A docker registry was created for faster application start-up
- Service providers can now create searchable product collections themselves
During the 13th development cycle the following improvements of the platform have been implemented:
- EO data products are now directly retrieved from the CREODIAS repository
- Systematic jobs received an own tab for overview and management
- The job/sub-job management section has been streamlined and extended
- It is now easier to stop and rerun jobs in the Manage & Share section
- Meta information of jobs has been extended
- Jobs can now be filtered by string, status and date
